CM Revanth plans to complete Rythu Bharosa payment

Hyderabad: The state government is preparing to bring Rythu Bharosa to farmers with four to 10 acres of land by the last week of May. Sources said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed the finance department to arrange the necessary funds. The Chief Minister is also expected to hold a review meeting in Rythu Bharosa next week, with further clarification of the payment process expected.
The state government began payment of funds under Rythu Bharosa on January 26, Republic Day. The second phase of payment is the third phase, which takes place on February 5 and February 11.
During the first three stages, farmers with up to four acres of land were covered. In the fourth phase, the government plans to expand interests to farmers with more than 4 acres, with people with up to 10 acres of land being included in the phase.
Under Rythu Bharosa, the Congress government increased the expenditure paid to Rs 6,000 per season, from Rs 5,000 provided by Rs Bandhu of the BRS regime.
Revanth Reddy had promised to complete all farmers’ payments by March 31. However, the government missed the deadline and payments only reached up to four acres of land that farmers owned. The plan has not released further funds for the plan since March.
During the first phase, which began on January 26, about 441,000 farmers received Rs 5.69 crore. In the second phase, about 1.703 million farmers received Rs 5.58 million on February 5, and in the third phase, about 1.324 million farmers received Rs 1,092 million on February 11.
Every farmer with over 4 acres is still waiting for their Rythu Bharosa payment. The upcoming Kharif season will begin in June, with the state government planning to pay Rythu Bharosa to Kharif from July after completing spending on the Rabi season in June.
