Investigators were shocked to find many videos of sexual assault, sexual behavior and pornography downloaded from the Internet in nine people’s electronic products, mainly from Thirunavukkarasu’s phones and Sabarirajan’s laptops. The videos later helped police and CBI identify criminals and survivors.

“These men were driven primarily by carnal pleasure, which eventually led to sexual assault on women and blackmailed them for repeated crimes,” a former investigator said.
