TGSWREIS launches foundation courses for IIT, NEET and CLAT

Hyderabad: Social Secretary vs. Alagu Varsini said on Tuesday that the Telangana Society of Social Welfare Residential Education Institutions (TGSWREIS) will launch foundation courses for IIT, NEET and CLAT aspirants in select schools for IIT, NEET and Clat Grast. This reflects the practice of some personal trainers.

Dr. Valsini said in a press conference that the association hopes to provide students in marginalized communities with more time to master the core concepts, prepare for national exams and compete with peers at the Coach Center. Participation is voluntary and based on interests and talents.

Regarding admission, Telangana Gurukul CET received 169,000 applications in 2025, which can be used for 57,523 seats. Of these, 55,504 have been allocated and 2,019 seats have been vacancies. The next round will be held on May 25th and June 10th. For the first time, MLA can view live seat availability in the selection on the website. Mandatory admission for caste and income certificates.

The association also opens a wide range of employment preparation programs for its students and alumni, which provides localized training and job placement without any additional budget allocations. These include coding labs at each school, French certification, food safety systems, and early foundation coaches for competitive exams.

Dr. Valsini said the facility is suitable for thousands of last-year students and unemployed alumni under the age of 25, many of whom have not worked despite their degrees. “We realize that less than one percent of graduates who are less than three months have employment continuity,” she said.

To address this, TGSWREI collaborated with the Bangalore-based Unnatti Foundation for a 45-day hybrid training course, with 90 classroom hours and 110 through application-based modules within the school. Each batch will have 40 students and will register from mid-June. The Udyogam Job Portal will help match candidates to local vacancies in rural and urban areas.

Tgswreis expands its language products through a partnership with the French Embassy. Teachers are receiving Level B certification, and students from Level VII to X will be eligible for a level C. Valsini said students can use it for free to work or teach French.

All schools will receive Raspberry Pi Labs to support computing courses. From Level VI, students will learn Scratch, HTML, and Python. “We want students to complete Level X with professional-level computing skills,” she said. The coding assessment is now part of the progress report.

On the health side, more than 260 institutions are adopting EAT correct school certification with FSSAI and local inspectors. Food safety volunteers are on every campus after incidents like food poisoning cases involving external food. “Storage, preparation and procurement are strictly monitored, and all suppliers must be certified,” she said. She also told the hotel safety of the dormitory and noted that male and female staff members are no longer allowed to enter women’s institutions after repeated complaints, including allegations of misconduct and abuse of mobile phones.
