Deputy Chief Minister Malu Bhatti Vikramarka slammed the “anti-human policy” of the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, saying the former government has tied tribal female farmers to trees and defeated them.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will launch the “Indira Giri Solar Energy Development Program” on May 18 to benefit the tribe. “In addition, Indiramma houses will be specially allocated in tribal constituencies,” he added.
He said the government is implementing benefits plans worth tens of millions without any burden despite financial restrictions, despite financial restrictions, after laying the foundation for the 33/11 kV substation. He stressed that more welfare initiatives are underway.
He said the former government had plundered public wealth and therefore could not implement plans such as farm loan exemptions, Rajiv Yuva Vikasam and Indiramma housing, adding that the current government is planning to approve other Indiramma homes in tribal constituencies.
Vikramarka mentioned the last administration that during the Congressional regime, land rights were obtained under the Forest Rights Act. “But when they tried to cultivate the land over the past decade, they were brutal assaults – women were tied to trees and beaten.”
To instill confidence in tribal farmers, the Congress-led Indiramma government will launch the Indira Solar Giri Water Development Program on May 18 at Chenchu Colony in Achampet, Nagarkurnool district, under the leadership of CM Revanth Reddy. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 125,000 crore.
He explained that plans have been developed in coordination with the Horticulture Department to ensure that the tribe earns income every three months.
