Two red sander smugglers in Kadapa

In a massive crackdown on Red Sanders smuggling, Red Sanders Anti-Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF) police arrested two smugglers within the Sida Dawam range of the Kadapa Forest Division and captured nine red Sanders on Wednesday.

Police Chief L. Subbarayudu acts under the special team L. Subbarayudu, led by Deputy Director G. Bali Reddy. The team carried out a sorting operation in the Nityapujakona Forest Area.

During the operation, the team discovered the motorcycle in a remote location. As they approached, the two men tried to escape but were quickly led by a team led by reserve sub-inspectator Muralidhar Reddy, as well as forest officials Penchal Reddy, Shaik Jaffer and K. Rajesh.

Searches in this area resulted in the recovery of nine red Sanders logs. The defendants and the confiscated logs were moved to the headquarters of the Task Force in Tirulupati, where Deputy Director Srinivasulu Reddy asked them. The case has been registered.
