CCB arrests human resources management personnel for cheating unemployed youth

A special investigation by the central crime department wing officer arrested a 43-year-old HR executive on Wednesday for allegedly deceiving young people who provided jobs in well-known companies.

Defendant Patnool Khalandar Khan, a resident of the defendant JP Nagar, was arrested on a complaint filed by a victim.

According to police, the defendant went to Bangalore to look for a job last year and joined a private company as a human resources consultant.

He once made fake assurances to bring unemployed youth closer to him and promised to find jobs in multinational corporations and IT companies. The defendant deceived the complainant and promised to accommodate her in a multinational company, accounting for Rs 2.7 lakh.

The defendants allegedly deceived up to eight people in the past few months and accounted for Rs 1.42 lakh.

Officials also booked two defendants identified as Veeresh and Inayath, who are currently running away.

Police said efforts are being made to track the defendants. Police have recovered Rs 1.5 lakh from him and have investigated to recover the rest of the money.
