Hydraa chief visits land occupation site

Hyderabad: Hydraa Commissioner Av Ranganath visited Abdullapurmet’s Rajajinagar layout on Wednesday after residents complained about a Samreddy Bala Reddy encroachment. They filed a complaint earlier during Hydraa’s Prajavani program, accusing Bala Reddy of occupying their conspiracy by using fake documents. They also claim that the parks and roads in the 17-acre layout have been composed of nearly 190 plots and have been merged and occupied.
After the first complaint, Hydraa officials removed the encroachment and demolished unauthorized buildings built on the internal roads.
Troubles were reportedly escalating shortly after Bala Reddy tried to resume construction on the land. According to the victims, when they tried to intervene, he attacked them and deported them. One of the victims told the commissioner that he was injured in the attack and received 12 shots on the scalp.
“Employment will be removed and all roads and parks will be protected,” Ranganathan said, adding that criminal cases will be conducted on Samreddy Bala Reddy for illegal escaping and attacks. Later, Ranganathan visited Koheda’s newly formed pond and assessed the wild complaints of locals who claimed their property was flooded.
