Pakistan Army spokesman Lieutenant Gen Ahmed Sharif is the son of a nuclear scientist

New Delhi: Pakistan Army spokesman Lieutenant Ahmed Sharif Choudhury (DG ISPR) is the son of a nuclear scientist – Mahmood Sultan Bashir -ud -Din, approved by a 2001 UN Security Council resolution.

Mahmood Sultan Bashir-ud-din listed on 24 December 2001, in accordance with paragraph 8(c) of Resolution 1333 (2000) in connection with “activities that participate in financing, promote, promote or pass litigation” in connection with Al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden (deceased) or the Taliban, in a manner that achieves the ACT or activity, financing, promotion or activity of the Taliban, financing, financing, promotion or activity of the Taliban or the Taliban. In November 2001, workers who left Kabul and UTN Kabul offices fled the area. A search of UTN location in Kabul produced documents, developed a plan to kidnap American lawyers and outline the basic nuclear physics related to nuclear weapons. Bashir-ud-din also provided financial support to the Taliban. He reportedly established UTN to rebuild Afghan infrastructure and raise funds to develop the Taliban-controlled Afghan area.
