SC hears Kancha Gachibowli land case today

Hyderabad: The Supreme Court is scheduled for the HEAR, Kancha Gachibowli land case, involving 400 acres of Hyderabad University land. On April 16, the court is scheduled to hold its next hearing on May 15 and ordered that no work of any kind shall be carried out on the land until a decision is made.
The Supreme Court has filed a lawsuit by the Supreme Court on wildlife affected by the land clearance action in extensive news reports. The government has notified the court that the 400 acres are not woodland and that TGIIC is developing it to establish employment generation companies and related facilities.
On April 16, the court ordered the state government to restore 100 acres of land for clearing trees, and the Ministry of Wildlife immediately took measures to protect wildlife in the area.
