Cybercrime petition submits fake posts claiming “attack” on Colonel Qureshi’s home

Bellagarve: Police said Wednesday that a petition was filed at the Cyber ​​Crime Police Department after a fake social media post claimed that Colonel Sofia Qureshi’s in-laws were “attacked” at the residence of Bellagarve.

The post was eventually removed on “X”, believed to be from outside India. Authorities are working to identify responsible individuals.

Bheemashankar, principal of the Bellagarve Police Department, swallowed “no such incident happened” and clarified that the position was wrong.

He added: “We have filed a petition with the Cyber ​​Crime Police Department in the Bellagarve area to seek details of the account holder from ‘x’.”

For precautions, a local police team visited Qureshi Col’s in-laws’ house in Gokak Taluk and stationed two police officers outside their home.

Colonel Qureshi, along with Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, was a key figure in the armed forces in the media briefing on Sindoor operations.
