A 50-year-old rubber tapper was killed on Thursday (May 15, 2025) in a plantation in Adakkakundu near Kalikavu in the eastern part of Malapuram district of Kerala. The deceased has been identified as Abdul Gafoor.
His colleagues fled for safety, as the tiger pounced on Gafore shortly after dawn began work.
They said the tiger dragged Gafal into the forest.
His body was later recovered from the inside of the forest after a joint search between the police and the forest police.
