The Army’s Eastern Command said in an article on X: “Specific intelligence was taken against armed cadres near the village of New Mountain.
During the operation, they opened fire on the troops through suspicious cadres, and they responded quickly in a calibrated and measured manner, redeployed and retaliated. In the subsequent firefight, 10 cadres were neutralized and a large number of weapons and ammunition were restored. ”
