Sheraton appoints Sourav Pal Chowdhury as assistant director of F&B

Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel announces the appointment of Sourav Pal Chowdhury as the new assistant director for food and beverages. With over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Chowdhury will lead the hotel’s catering business with a focus on enhancing guest experience and excellent service.
Chowdhury will oversee all strategic and operational aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage sector in his new role, including its restaurant, banquet, outdoor dining (ODC), in-room dining and Bonvoy Marriott Bonvoy (Mbow) service on wheels. His missions include driving innovation in culinary products and a standard of service that is consistent with Sheraton’s global brand spirit.
Prior to joining Sheraton Hyderabad, Chowdhury held leadership roles among numerous hotel brands such as Conrad Bengaluru, Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golflinks, Kochi and Jaipur, Jaipur, Noveotel & Ibis Bengaluru and Ibis Bengaluru and Hyatt Hotels. He also brings valuable cross-industry experience from Cinepolis India Pvt. Ltd., where he managed the food and film business of 10 screens in Bangalore.
Chowdhury is an alumnus of Annamalai University with a degree in hospitality management and tourism, known for his team’s leadership, a customer-centric approach and the talent for innovative dining concepts. He previously participated in the pre-opening team and professional catering businesses and is expected to further strengthen the food and beverage landscape at Sheraton Hyderabad.
