Stalin condemns the coalition government’s rake problem solved by SC

Chennai: Strongly condemning the presidential reference of the coalition government, trying to subvert the Supreme Court’s constitutional position that has settled in the cases and other precedents of the governor of Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister MK Stalin urged all non-BJP ruling countries and political leaders to join the legal battle to defend the constitution.
Stalin’s social media message on Thursday pointed out in his social media message that under Article 143, President Droupadi Murmu’s reference to the court adopting its powers, requiring it to impose a timetable under Article 142, and to specify the way the governor and the president behave.
He said the attempts of the coalition government clearly show that RN RAVI has undermined the mandate of the people as required by the BJP, which poses a clear urgent threat to national autonomy and vows to fight against all their powers with a tough social media message
He said that putting the president’s reference under the control of desperate state governments and under the control of state governments that weaken democratic elections, also directly challenging the majesty of the law and the power of the Supreme Court as the ultimate interpreter of the Constitution, he said.
He wondered why there should be any objection to the time limit for the governor to take action, he asked whether the BJP tried to legalize its governor’s obstruction by allowing an indefinite delay in bill consent, and that “the coalition government intends to paralyze the non-BJP state legislature?”
He noted that the questions raised in the references reveal that the sinister intentions of the BJP-led coalition government were to distort the basic distribution of power in the constitution and lose the capacity of the opposition-led state legislature, which he said put the country in a critical state.
He urged non-BJP parties to support the DMK’s struggle against the coalition government in serious circumstances, saying: “Tamil Nadu will win.”
The Supreme Court rejected 10 bills sent to him after the governor deemed “illegal” on April 8, after the passage of the Tamil Nadu Parliament, and cited powers to declare the bills validly ratified.
After the court’s ruling, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar severely lowered his verdict, saying the court could not set clauses to the president, referring to landmark judgments, as the deadline for the president and governor’s clearance bill.
Later, Dhankar also attended a meeting organized by Governor Raj Bhavan to attend the Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu University and addressed the participants.
