Shashi Tharoor said he spoke in his personal capacity and served as foreign affairs expert for the Indian-Pakistan ceasefire

On Thursday, MP Shashi Tharoor tried to deny speculation that he did not match Congress’s position in the case of the Indian-Pakistan ceasefire.
Mr Tharoor recently attracted Flak for allegedly different positions from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government, which violates India’s long-standing position, which does not interfere with Brook’s third party in the country’s dispute with Pakistan.
Mr Tarole’s statement said that India has agreed to Pakistan’s ceasefire, arguably undermining Congress’ demand for public clarification of the events leading up to the ceasefire, especially in light of U.S. President Donald Trump’s claims on U.S. mediation between the two nuclear forces.
Mr. Tharoor told reporters at Thiruvananthapuram that he drew personal opinions on conflict from his nearly 30 years of experience in foreign affairs. He said he was not a spokesperson for the party and that people were looking for comments because of his long-term mission as a UN diplomat.
(Previously, the All-India Congress Committee (AICC) passed a resolution requiring the central government to clean up the ceasefire that prompted Mr. Trump to claim that he prompted him to make him a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.)
Mr Taroll said he spoke frankly about his point of view. He has no secret agenda. “What you see is what you get,” he added. Mr. Tharoor also noted that the AICC has put its weight behind the central government to make state-funded perpetrators of terrorism bookings.
Mr Taroll said this was not his intention to cause controversy. “But the controversy seems to have put me in trouble, especially after I entered politics. ”
