The government complies with the court order and will continue to do so: MP CM continues to speak in minister Vijay Shah

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said his government has complied with the court order and will continue to objectionable remarks against his minister Vijay Shah against Colonel Sofia Kuresi.
As demand for the resignation of Mr. Shah, Minister of Tribal Affairs, is increasing.
He said Congress had no moral right to ask Shah to resign, adding that the opposition should first ask Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to resign.

Mr Yadav told reporters on Thursday (May 15, 2025) on the sidelines of the Tiranga Yatra initiated by Roshanpura Square in Bhopal: “Our government follows this regardless of the orders of the judiciary.
Asked about Congress asking Mr Shah to resign, he said: “Parliament will continue to do so. The party should request (resign) (Karnataka CM) Siddaramaiah.”
“Congress can only speak. Congress’s actions are that even if he was sentenced to jail when he was Chief Minister, even if he was in jail. Where he was at the time, Congress had no say.

Mr. Shah made a controversial statement at a public event in rural areas of Indore on Monday (12 May 2025) without naming Colonel Qureshi. Through his comments, Mr. Shah attempted to present Colonel Sofia as a “sister of terrorists”.
On Wednesday (May 14, 2025), his FIR was ordered to register for his FIR to recognize Suo Motu’s perception of the speech.

After the court order, Mr. Shah from India conducted FIR registration on Wednesday evening (May 14, 2025).
Congress has asked Mr. Shah to resign since the dispute broke out.
Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and experienced BJP leader Uma Bharti also asked Mr Shah to immediately fire the cabinet.

Colonel Qureshi gained accents nationwide after sharing details of the “Operation Sindoor” initiated by the Indian Armed Forces at a press conference with Foreign Ministers Vikram Misri and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh.
After the statement about him caused great controversy, Mr Shah said he was ready to apologize ten times if anyone was injured. He also said that he respected Colonel Qureshi more than he respected his sister.
