Hyderabad CP Anand wins Excellence Award at Dubai Police Summit

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner Resume CV Anand won the “Excellent Anti-Drug Award” on behalf of Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Department (HNEW) at the World Police Summit (WPS)-2025, organized by Dubai Police Police from May 13 to May 16 to May 16 to May 16.

Advocacy plans for drug control in the Hyderabad Commission’s restrictions and significant achievements over the past three years, as a result of positive measures to curb drug trafficking and consumption in Hyderabad.

Anand was awarded the honored World Police Summit Committee at the awards ceremony held today at the Dubai Police Club in Dubai. Anand said in his speech that famous police officers from 138 countries participated in the summit.

He expressed great happiness after winning awards after competing with the drug enforcement department of the Hyderabad City Police Department with efficient police forces from all continents around the world. He acknowledges the hard work and dedication of his team members in receiving prestigious awards and pays tribute to everyone.

He further stressed that this achievement was proud not only for the Telangana police, but also for the entire Indian police force. He attributes this recognition to the innovative work practices and holistic approaches adopted by H-New in controlling narcotics.

In a panel discussion ahead of the awards ceremony, Anand talked about the narcotics problem facing India as a country, especially after Covid, drugs entered the country, and various gangs and hawkers arrested various ways to observe the various efforts of educational institutions through anti-drug recognition and cognitive campaigns.
