Telangana RTA area may integrate with Sarathi within one month

The initiative of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of the Government of India, Sarathi Dashboard combines the North District Road Transport Authority (RTA) of the Telangana government with its centralized platform. The remaining areas in Hyderabad are expected to be opened by the end of this month.
The Sarathi portal promotes a range of licensing-related services, including renewals, address changes and additions to vehicle categories, and interstate access to RTAs at one time. So far, applicants from other states must have at least twice access to the RTA office for data entry and service processing. By centralizing these operations, the portal aims to simplify the process of citizenship by eliminating unnecessary access and delays.
Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar officially launched the Sarathi application at the Thirumalagiri RTA office on April 30. This was followed by the State Government’s decision to implement Sarathi and Vahan, and was consistent with several other states.
“While the North District has been integrated, other areas within Hyderabad will bring the Salasi platform under the Salasi platform in another month. In the following month, all RTA offices across Telangana will be integrated. We will do it in a phased manner.” Hindu.
The North District RTA processed 503 learners’ license applications and received 59 applications for permanent driving permits, according to the Sarathi dashboard. During the same period, 345 driving tests were conducted and 329 learner licenses were issued. In addition, RTA generated Rs 2.97 lakh in online revenue.
