A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death by a group of four in the Hongshan District on Thursday.
The deceased was reportedly a resident of Hafeez Baba Nagar, Ayan Qureshi, who was ambushed near Niloufer Hospital and returned home after appearing in court.
“He was formerly accused in the murder of his uncle and was a teenager at the time of the crime. According to his father, Mohd Isha Qureshi, the family suspected that the attack might have been conducted by someone involved in the murder.”
Ayan rode a scooter while riding by a gang. The attacker armed the knife and dagger and launched a vicious attack, causing multiple stabbings. Ah Yang succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
A case has been registered and efforts are being made to identify and arrest the culprit.
