The Uttar Pradesh government will soon develop new health policies to enhance hospital infrastructure across the state, focusing on attracting private investment for health care reform. Under the new policy, a 200-bed hyper-specialty hospital will be established in municipal companies and 57 regional headquarters.

“The government led by Yogi Adityanath is preparing to develop a new health policy aimed at developing world-class health infrastructure across the state. The upcoming policy will be a blueprint for the next five years and is designed to attract private investment in the healthcare sector. The government aims to conduct multinational corporations on Friday, not on Friday, but on Friday, but on Friday, but on Friday, and on Sunday, and on Sunday, and on Sunday, the government is launched. “16, 2025) by UP Government.

Mr Adityanath recently held a senior meeting where he directed to ensure that the health infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh is consistent with global standards. After that, officials briefed him on the framework for the proposed health policy.

“The policy is expected to pave the way for the establishment of super-specialty services such as neurosurgery, cardiology, and oncology in every district. Additionally, private hospitals will be integrated into key government health schemes like the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, and the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana,” the statement added.

The new health policy may be based on three models A, B and Model C. Model A will cover 17 municipal company areas. In these areas, private investment will be encouraged to establish at least three super specialized hospitals with 200 beds. These hospitals will provide advanced facilities such as internal medicine, surgery, radiation therapy, oncology, maternal care, cardiology, neurology, urology and gynecology services. Model B will focus on 57 regional headquarters and will also establish 200-bed hospitals. These hospitals will provide the same advanced services as the advanced services of Model A, which will target rural and backward areas in all 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh. According to the model, a 100-bed hospital will be established to provide general medical, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology services.

In the proposed new health policy, the UP government may offer major incentives to attract private investors in the healthcare sector. These include stamp duty on land purchases, priority for power connections and a 100% exemption for fast track approval (NOC).
