Sources said a 51-year-old carpenter Ramesh surrendered at the Banaswadi Police Stoilt and allegedly admitted to killing his 47-year-old wife Kalaivani in an early morning dispute on Friday.
Ramesh divorced his first wife, who had two children and married Kalaivani. However, Kalevani reportedly opposed his contact with his first wife and children. He stabbed Kalevani with a woodworking tool after fighting for the issue Friday morning, according to reports. Sources said he surrendered before police hours later.
Banaswadi police have booked him for murder and arrested him.
