Himaal ambulance workers threaten to protest if wages are required, working hours are still not met

Bilaspur: Staff associated with ambulance services may perform their requests over the next seven days, including eight hours of duties and timely payments, will strike at the 108 and 102 ambulance services in Himaal Pradesh. Staff associated with these services said ambulance services will be stopped throughout the state, with government, national health missions Shimla and operating company Medshwaan going to be responsible.
Bilaspur union chairman Sanjeev Kumar and vice president Beeri Singh told reporters here that the staff of the 108 and 102 ambulance services are committed to serving the public.
Their main requirements include eight hours of duty, quick payment of pending arrears, restoration of fired employees, recognition of the conditions of service and the failure to fire employees without justification.
They said that even during the Kuved pandemic, ambulance workers performed their duties with a dedication without taking care of their lives. Nevertheless, governments and management companies are constantly ignoring them.
They claim that first, GVK and now Medshwaan are leveraging their employees.
The union said that employees were allowed to work 12 hours each, while salaries and facilities were given under labor laws, adding that despite serving for the past 14 years, they had no stability.
The union warns that they are currently on strike, but they will stop working altogether if the requirements are not met.
They call on the people of the country that if ambulance services are destroyed in the future, they should understand the forced and cooperate with employees.
They said that if any loss of life occurs in any emergency during this period, the responsibility will be the responsibility of the government and the relevant management.
