government. Committed to urban development: Komatireddy

Nalgonda: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the state government is implementing a comprehensive plan to improve infrastructure and amenities in urban areas. Speaking after the unveiling of a robot jet in Nargonda City on Friday, the minister said the government aims to enhance the living conditions of urban residents by combining welfare schemes with the development of basic amenities.

He assured that Nalgonda will be developed as a model city in the state. He said the underground drainage work in Nargonda town will be completed soon and measures will be taken to ensure there is no shortage of drinking water. He added that all wards in the town will develop equally regardless of political affiliation.

Burri Srinivas Reddy, former chairman of the Nalgonda Municipal Government, and chief engineer (public health) Venkateshwarlu were also present at the program.
