Maharashtra IPS Transfers-promotions: Arti Singh publishes as Mumbai’s first intelligence joint CP

The Maharashtra government appointed 2006 IPS official Arti Singh as the first joint police commissioner (intelligence) in Mumbai on Friday (May 16, 2025).

The state government recently created the sixth position of the Joint Commissioner of the Metropolitan Forces to facilitate intelligence gatherings.

One official said the position of the Special Commissioner at the Special Commissioner (ADG) level has been demoted to create a sixth joint commissioner post for intelligence gatherings.

The state government also transferred more than a dozen deputy inspector general (DIG) rank officials and promoted 14 police stations (SPS) and allowed them to dig.

Anil Paraskar, an additional commissioner of the Central Mumbai Region, has been transferred to the protection and security department of the force, in accordance with the order of the state government. Current additional CP (Protection and Security) Vinita Sahu has been transferred to local weapons. Shaileshbalkawade, Shailesh Balkawade, Shailesh Balkawade is the other CP (crime) of Pune, which has been transferred to other CP (crime) to the official official of other CP (crime).

“The additional CP (crime) Shashi Kumar Meena in Mumbai has been appointed to the Pravin Patil serving in Pune. Narcotics Task Force,” he added.

He said that the additional CP of Pune, Arvind Chawariya, has become Amravati Police Commissioner, adding that the position has been demoted.

Rajendra Dabhade of SP is an additional CP for protecting civil rights and has been promoted to Nagpur.
