The Communist Party of India (Marxism) [CPI(M)] A rally around Ambedkarite rapper Vedan and military spokesman Sofia Qureshi, the party described it as the latest goal of Sangh Parivar’s ingrained “caste and community hatred.”
CPI (M) Secretary of State MV Govindan told reporters that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) editors, Kesari, Kesari, NR Madhu portrayed Vedan as a “caste terrorist.”
Mr Govindan said Mr Madhu subscribed to the feudal and rebel agenda of the RSS to revive the Hindu Association’s hierarchy into Savarnas, Avarnas, Avarnas, Outcastes and Untouchables.
He said Mr. Madu’s performances of rhythm and poetry artist Vedan and his crowds reflect RSS’s suspicion of people in marginalized areas of society.
Mr Govindan said RSS stigmatized the regression and Dalit parts of Indian culture and ethnic minorities.
Mr Govindan said Sangh Parivar’s attempt to revive the oppressive caste system, and the progressive movement, including the Renaissance movement in Kerala, has been relegated to a historical trash can. RSS proves that caste system is justified and is a manifestation of the sacred code contained in the banned text in India.
CPI(M) has always opposed the artificial structure of caste, aiming to advocate the supremacy of a wealthy, feudal, qualified and corporate elite mass over the masses.
Mr Govindan said CPI(M) will mobilize the masses and gain support from Hindu devotees to resist the malicious attempts of Sangh Parivar to inject the attempts of secular culture in Kerala into society to subvert the secular culture in Kerala.
Hit in VC
Mr Govindan said that the Vice President of Kerala University, Mohanan Kunnumal, who was in charge of Raj Bhavan’s appointment, was portrayed by the university’s students and teachers as fifth columnists and traitors. He also threatened the student-teacher institution through the National Bureau of Investigation (NIA) investigation into alleged anti-international activities. He said CPI(M) will resist the vice-president’s move to demon academia.
Attack on officers
Mr Govindan said the anti-Muslim nausea of RSS was manifested in the public sulfuric acid population of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) minister against Colonel Sofia Kuresi.
He mentioned that the BJP did not condemn the minister’s public attack on a uniformed officer, which made the country proud of the recent India-Pakistan conflict. Instead, the BJP said he “apologized” for the malicious attack and rallyed behind the wrong minister.
Mr Govendan said the coalition government must morally clarify whether it allowed the United States to mediate the India-Pakistan dispute, thus violating the country’s position on third-party interventions against protracted quarrels among neighboring countries.
