The seven escaped prisoners remain huge after a massive escape in Louisiana as new footage reveals this shocking moment, the group desperately bids for freedom.
According to Sheriff Susan Hutson, ten inmates at the Orleans Parish Prison escaped through the wall behind the toilet and cleverly used blankets to protect themselves from barbed wire fences on Friday morning.
When the prisoners were not found, a huge search broke out around 8:30 a.m.
The fugitive is considered “armed and dangerous.” Authorities believe they are helpful internally and exited the prison around 1:01 a.m.

The Louisiana State Police Department released all ten escaped prisoners photographers identified as Cory Boyd, Dennis Dennis, Jermaine Donald, Derek Groves, Antoine Messi, Robert Moody, Kendall Moordy, Kendall Myers, Gary Price, Leo Tate, Leo Tate and Fenton Vanburen.

Law enforcement believes they escaped around 1 a.m.
The initial report cites 11 prisoners, but Hutson later clarified that Keith Lewis was mistakenly called a fugitive.
Police announced at 1 p.m. that Kendell Myles was located and arrested at The French Quarter in New Orleans.
“After a brief pursuit, he was arrested on Royal Street. “The soldiers continued to work with partners to find the rest of the escapees and ensure public safety,” Los Angeles State Police said in a statement. ”
He was found hiding under a car in the parking lot of the Montreon hotel, and the Louisiana cavalry “has no further incidents” to chase him.
Myers, previously charged with second-degree murder, is now facing simple escape charges, according to the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office announced at 8:40 p.m. that the second inmate, Robert Moody, was captured and detained at 7:32 p.m. after tips on the crime action.
Moody was found in the Lower Gardens and was arrested by Los Angeles State Police, Force Nora and the FBI.
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill said he was charged with illegal carrying of weapons on suspicion of illegally carrying weapons, secondary batteries and obstacles. Moody’s will also face charges related to jailbreak.

New Orleans Police Commissioner Anne Kirkpatrick warned the public that assisting any fugitive will lead to criminal charges.
Kirkpatrick told reporters that the FBI and the U.S. Marshal were joined by the hunt.
She added that victims associated with the fugitive have been notified of escape and a family has been relocated for their safety.
Kirkpatrick reminded the public to stay alert and realize that the fugitive may now be wearing plainclothes.
The FBI issued a reward of up to $5,000 for tips that resulted in prisoner arrest.
