I can’t see politics: Shashi Tharoor was invited to lead the delegation of Sindoor Operation

At the same time, he denied any knowledge of the name proposed by Congress for the delegation, saying it was between the Party and the central government.
Tharoor said in a conversation with reporters here that the Minister of Workers’ Congress Affairs Kiren Rijiju recently formally invited him to lead the delegation and, given his past experience in foreign affairs, I immediately agreed.
“I can’t see politics. According to me, when we have a country, politics becomes important. We are all Indians. What other answers will you give when the country is in crisis and the central government seeks help from citizens,” said the MP of Thiruvananthapuram.
He further said that everyone saw an 88-hour battle with Pakistan, so: “We all need to play a role in the world’s evaluation of us”.
“It’s exactly what I agree with.” The reporter asked if Congress was not satisfied with his decision and why the names of the people suggested for the delegation were released, and Tarole said the media should submit these questions to the big old political party. When asked if the party had any reservations about his leadership delegation, he said: “You will have to ask them (Parliament).
He also said that when he received a call from Rijiju to invite him to lead the delegation, he had informed the party.
Regarding the questions of journalists, whether the party tried to insult him by releasing the name suggested by the delegation, Taroll said he could not insult him so easily. “I know my worth,” he asserted.
He said the center seeks services for the country and he is always ready for it.
He added: “National service is the duty of every citizen.”
Members of Congress further stated that when the country was attacked, “we all have good for the country with one voice and a unified voice”.
The central government appointed Tharoor as the leader of one of seven multi-party delegations to project India’s national consensus and firm approach to combat terrorism in all forms and manifestations and to deliver a message of zero tolerance for terrorism in the world.
Jairam Ramesh, Secretary-General of the Congress, said earlier in the day that there was a difference “in Congress and in Congress.”
He also said that in a democratic system, when individual MPs are sent as part of a formal delegation, MPs must seek the party’s consent.
Ramesh also said the party nominated former Union Minister Anand Sharma, the party’s deputy leader, after Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi, Rajya Sabha MP Syed Naseer Hussain and Lok Sabha MP Raja Brar, the government demanded the names of the four members of the delegate.
