AP Government. Urges to reintroduce Telugu media in UG courses

Akhila Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM)’s Andhra Pradesh Chapter called on Saturday (May 17) to President of the AP State Higher Education Council (APSCHE) K. MADHU MURTHY Chairman, to replace Telugu, to replace Telugu, as a first-year culture medium.

Members of the organization said their needs are aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) and will benefit students, especially those from rural areas.

They also hope that authorities can revive the “third-degree university” degree program system, which they say provides greater academic flexibility in addition to meeting students’ various interests.

Among the detailed representatives submitted to the head of APSCHE, the delegation also emphasized the urgency of issuing admission notices for undergraduate courses.

They have also attracted serious concern about the online enrollment process, saying it is inconvenient and financially heavy, especially due to the non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500, which is not covered by the unpaid reimbursement scheme.

They cite the growing number of teaching positions at universities, urging the government to speed up recruitment and recommend that qualified faculty services from government degree colleges should be used to temporarily address the shortage.
