Nellol: Prakasam police arrested a tractor driver on Saturday to convert to novels after several Mandans in the area stole Rs 1.46 lakh worth of agricultural equipment.
Dudekula Hussain (33) from the Palnadu area targets unattended tractors, trailers, rotary machines and water tanks. After investigating the villages during the day, he stole them at night. He admitted to funding his vices and affairs through theft.
The breakthrough happened on May 10 when Messi Ferguson’s tractor and locked shed on the rotary rack were stolen.
Recovered items include two tractors, two trailers, two rotary machines and a water tank.
