The Centre has issued a list of 50 MPs to lead the voice of India’s global action. Shashi Tharoor, Supriya Sule leads from opposition

Following the Sindoor operation, the Centre announced a 50-member MP list, which will be part of seven full-party delegations in major regions around the world, with the mission of “bringing the voice of India to the world”. The delegation – a mix of ruling party members, allies, independents and opposition members – will travel to more than 30 countries spanning Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.

Congressman Dr. Shashi Tharoor will lead Congressman Dr. Shashi Tharoor on a team visiting the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Panama and Guyana. NCP’s Supriya Sule (Sharad Pawar faction), who will lead the group to visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia and South Africa. Kanimozhi of DMK and Sanjay Kumar Jha of JDU are also one of the group leaders representing non-BJP groups.

BJP MPs Baijayant Panda, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Shrikant Shinde, from the ruling party, led delegations from the Gulf countries, Europe and Africa respectively.

The delegation includes

• The first group led by Baijayant Panda (BJP) will visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria. It includes BJP MPS Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Asaduddin Owaisi of Aimim, nominated MPs Satnam Singh Sandhu and Ghulam Nabi Azad.
• Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP) Group 2 will travel to the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark and the EU. Members include D. Purandeswari of BJP, Priyanka Chaturvedi of Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress Amar Singh, etc.
• A third group led by Sanjay Kumar Jha (JDU) will visit Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. It includes members of Congress from the BJP, CPI(M), TMC and Salman Khurshid of Congress.
• The 4th group led by Shrikant Shinde (Shiv Sena) was bound to the UAE, Liberia, the PhD in the Congo and Sierra Leone. Other members include Bansuri Swaraj of BJP, Et Mohammed Basheer of Iuml and Sasmit Patra of BJD.
• Group 5, led by Shashi Tharoor (Congress) will cover the United States, Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia. Members of Congress from LJP, JMM, TDP, BJP and Shiv Sena are part of the delegation.
  Group 6, led by Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK), will travel to Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia and Russia. It includes MPS from SP, NC, RJD, AAP and BJP.
• Group 7, led by Supriya Sule (NCP – Sharad Pawar Group) will visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia and South Africa. Anurag Thakur of the BJP, Manish Tewari of the Congress and Lavu Devarayalu of the TDP are also part of the team.
