Mark the Minister of External Affairs (EAM) S. Jaishankar’s report said that India informed Pakistan of terror infrastructure at the start of operation Sindoor, which was the leader of the opposition leader Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Saturday (May 17, 2025) asking the people who “authorized” and the loss of the aircraft from India.

However, Mr. Gandhi’s claim is “a complete misstatement of facts”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) said in an official statement.

“Notifying Pakistan at the beginning of our attack was a crime. EAM has publicly acknowledged Goi [Government of India] Have done it. Who authorized it? How many aircraft did our Air Force lose? “Mr. Gandhi said in an article on social media platform X.
Congress leaders also shared a video of Mr Jaishankar. “At the beginning of the operation, we had already sent a message to Pakistan saying ‘We are impressed on the terror infrastructure and we are not shocked by the military’. Therefore, the military can choose to stand up instead of interfering in the process. They chose not to accept that good advice,” Gandhi said.

The Fact Check Department of the Bureau of News Information Bureau also stated that the minister was being misquoted and that he did not inform Pakistan of any statement before launching the Sindoor operation.
