To accelerate the growth of Telangana’s existing MSME, led by about 140 existing women, the Women Acceleration Program, supported by the MSME Department and the World Bank, was initiated by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday (May 17, 2025) in Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s goal to make women a million rupees millionaires. He talked about how women from self-help groups (SHGs) can repay their loans without missing out.

The Women Acceleration Program is a flagship program designed to enhance the ability of female entrepreneurs to sustainably expand and enhance their competitiveness – enabling women to achieve economic autonomy, business leadership and long-term entrepreneurial success in business. The CEO of WE Hub Sita Pallacholla said this will be achieved through targeted capacity building, tailored guidance, financial support, expanded market access and other approaches.

In addition, the Chief Minister initiated the Hub Grassroots Youth Innovation Program (GYIP) (to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among rural youth in the state). Our hub said in a press release that the program focuses on giving young people job-readiness skills, coaching and hands-on experience that enables them to become changemakers in their communities. The program will preach more than 6,000 students, 4,000 students to be sensitive, 1,500 students will be listed on ILEAP and 500 students to participate in the Campus Entrepreneurship Program.

ILEAP plans to support students at the age of 17-23 to explore new technological trends and experiences in their career development by mastering critical thinking, innovating and leveraging advanced tools. Ms Sita explained that while this focus is on students in rural areas, we are implementing the implementation of enabling urban students to achieve their goals.
