On the morning of Sunday (May 18, 2025), nine people were worried about death at their home near Gulzar Houz in Hyderabad. The family was sleeping as the fire and smoke passed through the first floor house behind the Patthergatti area near Charminar. According to fire department officials, 10 firefighters were sent to that place to put out the fire.
Some of the injuries have been transferred to two private hospitals.
Eight dead were identified as Abhisekh Modi (30), Rajender Kumar (67), Munnibhai (72), Sumitra (65), Iraj (2), Arushi Jain (17), Harshali Gupta (7) and Sheetaj Jain (37). Two children and a minor struggle for life in different hospitals.
Fire department officials have not determined the cause of the fire, which blocked the area. Waiting for more details.
