Adani Group’s defense equipment manufacturer signs “anti-noble war system” deal with US Sparton
Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India]May 18 (ANI): Adani Defense & Aerospace has signed a binding partnership agreement with Sparton (DeLeon Springs LLC) with the group company of Elbit Systems and the leading provider of advanced anti-noble war systems.
This partnership marks an important step towards bringing complex electronic systems and advanced opposition to Marlin War (ASW) solutions (ASW) solutions, according to a statement from Adani Group on Sunday.
Adani Defense & Aerospace claims it became the first private-sector company in India to offer localized Sonobuoy solutions.
The partnership will combine Spartaton’s groundbreaking ASW technology with expertise in the development, manufacturing and Indian Navy hosting.
Sonobuoys is a mission-critical platform for raising awareness of the submarine domain (UDA), providing an effective means to detect, locate and track submarines and other underwater threats. They play a key role in the Anti-Sea War (ASW) and other naval operations, and they support the maintenance of naval security and protection of naval carrier strike groups.
India has been importing this critical naval capability from global markets for decades, increasing our reliance on foreign original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Sparton’s ongoing relationship with the Indian Navy is aligned with the “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” and “Made in India” programs and will now promote Adani’s defense to localize these solutions developed for India.
