Law students tell

The High Court judge of Venkatesh Naik T., Karnataka, stressed that law students need to defend justice, impartiality and never get rid of their commitment to justice.
He said the 11th Kannada Mock Court Competition held by Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) in Hubballi, he said that for law students, maintaining Swadharma, instilling principles, working hard and maintaining dignity in courtrooms is paramount.
He stressed the need to participate in loud competitions because they help improve writing skills, research skills, verbally advocate skills, analytical skills and critical thinking, so they say these skills are crucial for successful and successful legal careers in court.
He said that the various legal career options for students are elaborated on, and law students should explore options for becoming group advocates, judges, notaries, government defenders, advocates, law firms and partnerships among law firms.
Mr Naik stressed that students need to work hard to understand various fields as this will help in their careers and called on them to be role models for others through their good professional and personal behavior.
Vice-Chancellor Kslu CC Basavaraju, chaired the inaugural session, said the Legal Brotherhood had a huge responsibility to strive to build a healthy society and to lift it out of all social ills.
Professor Basavaraju said that teaching the law and values will bring about positive changes in society.
Registrar Evaluation and President of KSLU Law School Ratna Bharamagoudar, Finance Officer Sanjeev Kumar Singh and others were present.
Students from law schools across the state are attending the annual event.
