At least 64 Palestinians killed in Israeli air strikes in Gaza | World News

Gaza’s civil defense said at least 64 Palestinians were killed in multiple Israeli air strikes and shellings on Saturday, including children and displaced families. The attack targeted residential areas, a school that sheltered civilians and a humanitarian aid warehouse.

According to the IANS, on Saturday, Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Chin-Child told Xinhua that seven young people were killed and several others were injured when Israeli shelled Israeli artillery and shelled a group of Palestinians to try to return to their homes. He added that four people, including a woman and two children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the gates of the Salah Din school, which sheltered displaced families in the western city of Gaza. A fifth man was also killed in an airstrike at a residential apartment in the north of the city.

The Hamas-run Gaza government condemned the attack on the warehouse and regarded it as a “severe and ongoing escalation of the systemic hunger policy occupied by the Gaza Strip”.

At least 3,131 Palestinians have been killed and 8,632 others have been injured since the resumption of its intensified military movement on March 18, with the loss of the total death toll in Gaza since the war began in October 2023 to 53,272, to 53,272, and 120,673 people were injured according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
