Legacy, hospitality and heartfelt message: Miss World contestants can taste Telangana

Showcasing the blend of security, innovation and culture, Sunday’s 108 Miss World 2025 contestants visited two modern landmarks in Hyderabad, Telangana Police Integrated Commanding Commanded Contacts and Contranted Center (TGICCC) and BR Ambedkar Teleangana Dr. The event not only highlights the state’s security infrastructure, but also provides its heritage, hospitality and hope.

The day began at the ritual entrance of the Mounted Police, and entered the TGICCC by the cavalry police, whose experience of solemn parade set the tone. Telangana’s K9 unit demonstrates their training and agility, a lively wind band performance and dog performance welcomes contestants. Visitors then explore a weapons exhibition that provides insights into modern weapons and protection systems used by the national police force.

Within TGICCC, participants are introduced to the technical miracle that supports the city’s emergency response system. From AI-driven analytics to integrated surveillance, the facility is a rare glimpse into how Telangana manages urban security with precision and innovation.

The contestants then headed to the National Secretariat, where they were welcomed by the Telangana State Anthem. Some contestants paid tribute to the statue of Telangana Talli and headed indoors for afternoon tea. Traditional Hyderabadian refreshments such as tea, Ottomanian biscuits and Karachi fruit biscuits provide guests with the culinary charm of the area.

Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao said: “This event provides us with an opportunity to showcase our food, history and culture. Many participants talked to me and were passionate about how Telangana organized this event so far. We are sure that the rest of the festival will be just as interesting.”

Later in the evening, Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao made a thrilling tone when talking about the party, admitting to the earlier Gulzar Houz fire accident. He concluded his speech with a message of hope and pride: “You are currently in India’s youngest state. Telangana is one of the fastest growing states in the country and we continue to be determined and hope. Over the past few days, you have traveled through our land and have a glimpse of Telangana.

It climaxed at night in a drone performance above the Hyderabad skyline. The illuminated sky narrates the symbols of Telangana, the statue of Telangana Talli, the welfare schemes such as Mahalakshmi and Rajiv Aarogyasri, the iconic Charminar, and climax with luminous words Telangana Zarur Aana’, a heartfelt invitation to the world.
