Miss World contestant glimpse of Telangana

Hyderabad: Miss World contestants caught a glimpse of Telangana’s development journey while visiting the Integrated Police Command and Control Center (TGICCC) and the Secretariat on Sunday. As part of the national efforts to promote tourism, contestants learned about security measures, rich culture and national history.
At TGICCC, contestants are introduced to advanced security and emergency systems that monitor states through various CCTV cameras. Show them how to aggregate data from different departments together in one system to respond quickly in an emergency, traffic jam or disaster. Live demonstrations of traffic surveillance, facial recognition and T-SAFE applications were presented and attracted their interest.
They were welcomed by the Mountain Police, the Pipeline Band, the K9 Dog Show and the Weapons Exhibition, while allowing contestants to take a closer look at the advanced weapons and protective gear used by the Telangana Police.
In the Secretariat, contestants pay tribute to the statue of Telangana Talli. Participants from several countries including India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Wales participated in the flower tribute.
The Secretariat’s visit also included screening of four audiovisual presentations that allowed audiences to pass through Telangana’s past, culture, development journey and Hyderabad’s position as a global investment hub.
The night ended with a drone show where images from the Telangana Talli statue, Sanna Biyyam, Aarogyasri, Mahalakshmi and others showcase the Miss 72 World Logo in the sky. The statue of Telangana Talli and a character of the term “Telangana Zarur Aana” lit throughout the night, leaving a lasting impression.
