Accident claimed the lives of seven children of the Associated Press; CM expressed grief

Vijayawada: Seven children were killed in separate incidents in Vizianagam and Chittal areas on Sunday.

In the Chittoor district, three children from the village of Devarajapuram in Kuppam Mandal were fatally trapped in the reservoir while playing. The kids, Gao Tammy, Shalini and Ashwin are from the same family.

In the Vizianagaram area, four children died while trapped in a locked car. While the kids were playing, the kids climbed onto a parked vehicle, but they couldn’t escape when the door was locked.

The kids are Uday, Jashirath, Charulatha and Manishwari. They succumbed to the suffocation inside the car. All of these children are under the age of 10.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed pain and deep sorrow for the death of these children and assured their families that the government would provide them with the necessary support.
