Creepy plastic button necklace teenager who enters a car outside JCPenney and disappears

A 40-year-old cold case has investigators providing $10,000 in new information as a 15-year-old girl disappears into a car outside of JCPenney.
Tracy Sue Walker disappeared from Lafayette, Indiana in 1978, and was last boarded with a bunch of older men at the Tippecanoe Mall.
Now, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has received a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the Walker Killer’s arrest, arrest and conviction.
In 1985, skeletal remains and plastic button necklaces were found in Campbell County, Tennessee. They were not identified as Walker until 2022, and they were not awarded the nickname “baby girl” until then.
Walker is believed to have met people in the vehicle Walker has been working temporarily in the area and has taken her out of the state.
Her kidnapper was murdered in Elk Valley in Campbell County, and investigators believe she organized well with multiple victims.
“In cold homicides, we often find relationships and relationship changes are key to solving this case,” said Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Agent Brandon Elkins.
“I believe these types of changes may now allow people in this community to speak out and give us the clues needed in Tracy. There are people out there who are Tracy’s heroes and I just hope they have the courage to step up.

Local students conducted extensive research on Walker’s killer to help investigate the discovery of Walker’s killer.
The sociology course at Elizabethton High School is raising awareness about cases.
“When my classmates and I think of Tracy, we think about how scared she must be,” one student, Shelby Edmonds told Wate 6 News.

“She is just a girl like me. She has her whole life in her own life – hope, hope, maybe siblings like us – it’s all taken away. She shouldn’t have gotten what happened to her.
Another student said that while continuing to research and share Walker’s story, he hoped to resolve her murder and give her justice.
Andrew Barnett told the media: “We hope to share her story now and a person who knows something will come forward.
“Still there are people—even in Campbell County, they didn’t hear her name or what happened. We want to change that.
“We hope to hear her story everywhere and hope someone can introduce the information TBI needs to help resolve the case.”
Her family continues to grieve Walker’s loss, and her brother Randy begs for information.
