Two people died in Ohio train crash as rescuers searched for other victims

Several pedestrians were hit by train in Ohio and killed at least two people because other pedestrians were believed to have been launched into nearby rivers.
Police confirmed that several people were attacked on the tracks in Fremont at around 7 p.m. Sunday.
Emergency work is underway as firefighters, police and water rescue teams flock to the scene near the Myers Newton Bridge where the train passed, officials said.
It is unclear what led to the tragic incident, but authorities have confirmed that two adults have died.
At least two people – including the five-year-old child – are still missing. The diving team is searching for the Sandusky River, Channel2now Report.
At least one person needs CPR when the first responder arrives and someone suffers nonfatal injuries. It is not clear whether this is the same person.
Myers Newton Bridge is closed. Officials urged people to avoid the area as the investigation continues.

“Obviously, we’re here tonight, at the scene where some people were hit by a train. We can confirm that there are currently two dead.
“There are multiple law enforcement agencies here…still looking for another person in the water.”
Sanchez told reporters that part of the bridge where the victims were attacked was usually without pedestrians.
The police declared the situation in trouble was a “massive casualties.”
