“Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will present the Indian-Pakistan military conflict following the Pahargam terrorist attacks on Monday (19 May 2025). The briefing will be held at around 4 pm,” the source said.

The meeting was conducted in the context of the Indian armed forces, who carried out Operation Sindor to avenge the Pahalgam attack and subsequent military operations between the two countries. India and Pakistan have some knowledge about the suspension of all military operations on May 10, 2025.
Mr Misri will present “the current foreign policy developments in India and Pakistan” to the panel chaired by MP Shashi Tharoor on Monday (19 May 2025) and Tuesday (20 May 2025).

The Water Resources Commission, chaired by Rajiv Pratap Rudy of the BJP, plans to be briefed by officials from various government departments such as flood scenarios, protection of river banks, soil erosion, relief measures during monsoons, including rivers flowing to the border.
The government has decided to send a delegation of the entire party to 33 global capitals to brief global leaders on India’s determination to deal with terrorism in the context of Sindor’s action.
