“In the ongoing spy investigation related to YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, each available information is being verified and related to YouTuber Priyyanka Senapati in Odisha,” said the principal of Puri police officer Vinit Agrawal.

Jyoti Malhotra, a resident of Hisar Haryana, was arrested for allegedly sharing sensitive information and continuing contact with Pakistani citizens. “They kept in touch with Haryana police on this matter,” police officers said.

In the preliminary investigation, the woman told police that she went to Delhi’s high commissioner to apply for a visa in 2023 and met a man named Ahsan-ur-Rahim, alias Danish. YouTuber also told police that after exchanging the numbers, she began talking to Ahsan-ur-Rahim and went to Pakistan twice.

“The woman also told Ahsan-ur-Rahim during the investigation to arrange her accommodation and travel and to arrange meetings with Pakistan’s security and intelligence agencies,” the official said.

Haris Malhotra, the father of the woman arrested by Haryana police on spy charges, said: “His daughter made YouTube videos and visited Pakistan. He asked to return to the police cell phone.” He said police first came to their house on Thursday (May 15, 2025). “The police have taken away his bank documents, phone number, laptop and passport,” he said. He said his daughter had visited Delhi and had been in Hisar for the past four or five days.
