Action Sindoor: The advancement of the entire Indian Party delegation

Seven full-party delegations of Sindoor, led by Shashi Tharoor, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shrikant Shinde, Baijayant Jay Panda, Supriya Sule, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi and Sanjay Jha, will travel to various countries soon.
The Centre released a list of seven party-wide delegations on Saturday (17 May 2025) that will soon travel to major partner countries including UN Security Council members and the EU to convey India’s message of zero tolerance for terrorism following the Pahalgam terrorist attacks and SINDOOR operations.
The seven delegations formed 59 members, including 31 political leaders from the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and 20 politicians from other parties. They will be assisted by former diplomats.
These delegations will be led by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPS Baijayant Jay Panda (Group 1) and Ravi Shankar Prasad (Group 2); Janata Dal (Joint) leader Sanjay Jha (Group 3); Shiv Sena Shrikant Shinde (Group 4); Shashi Tharoor (Group 5); Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (Group 6); and Supriya Sule (Group 7), leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar).
Group 1
Visiting countries: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria
Leaded by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda, the eight also includes former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and retired diplomat Harsh Shringla.
Group 2
United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark and the EU
The organization’s visit to European countries and the EU headquarters in Belgium is led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad. It also includes former Minister of External Affairs MJ Akbar and former Indian Ambassador to Pankaj Saran in Russia.
Group 3
Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and Singapore
The organization, led by Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, conveys India’s message to key Southeast Asian countries. The group also includes former Foreign Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid, Congressman Yusuf Pathan, Congressman Trinamool MP and John Brittas of CPI (M).
Group 4
United Arab Emirates, Liberia, Congo and Sierra Leone
Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Eknath Shinde leads the delegation of India to represent the UAE and major partner countries in Africa. The delegation also included IUML MP from Kerala and Mohammed Basheer and former diplomat Sujan Chinoy.
Group 5
United States, Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia
Congressman Shashi Tharoor, who also served as the UN Deputy Minister, is leading delegations from the United States and other major countries in the Americas. The former ambassador to the United States Taranjit Singh Sandhu was also part of the delegation.
Group 6
Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia and Russia
The Russian and Spanish delegations in India were led by DMK MP from Kanimozhi Karunanidhi’s Tamil Nadu. The group also includes two former diplomats, Manjeev S. Puri and Jawed Ashraf.
Group 7
Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia and South Africa
The delegation led by NCP MP Supriya Sule will visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia and South Africa. The group includes Congressional leaders Manish Tewari and Anand Sharma, as well as former Foreign Minister V. Muraleedharan and former permanent representative of India Syed Akbaruddin to the United Nations in Geneva.
