jyoti malhotra also contacted Pakistani processors during operation in sindoor, including power outages

Security agencies arrested Youtuber Jyoti Malhotra and three others suspected of surveillance on Pakistan. According to sources, they have been in contact with the handling personnel even in recent security measures, including power outages in northern India.

Arrests included Nauman Elahi from Uttar Pradesh, who served as a guard at Panipat. Devender Singh Dhillon from Kaithal; Jyoti Malhotra from Hisar; and Arman from Nuh. Haryana police began arrests on May 13. Multiple agencies are questioning all defendants. They are suspected of sharing important information about important devices with Pakistani handlers.

TOI sources show that on May 6, the day before Operation Sindor, Malhotra was in New Delhi, contacting Danes, staff from the Pakistan High Commission, etc. During this period, other defendants also reportedly kept in touch with their handlers.
“In modern warfare, the enemy attempted to establish positive narratives in favor of advantage. Malhotra’s involvement showed that she helped them establish narratives. That’s how influencers and YouTubers were.” Sawan added that central agencies have been monitoring Jyoti for some time and have also investigated another YouTuber from Odisha. Sources say Malhotra’s income does not match her travel expenses and may have sponsored some travel abroad.

Investigators found Arman, a Level XII dropout in his 20s, contacted Pakistani handlers through terrorists. He allegedly used his identity to provide Pakistani intelligence personnel with an Indian mobile SIM card. Oman also reportedly participated in the National Defense Expo and shared details with Pakistani agencies. He was arrested on May 15 in Firozpur Jhirka.
