Parliamentary panel unanimously condemns foreign Secy trolls: Source

The Parliament’s Foreign Standing Committee unanimously condemned Foreign Minister Vikram Misri’s drag and praised his professional conduct, sources said on Monday. Misri introduced the Indian-Pakistan military conflict to the parliamentary group after the Pahargam terrorist attacks.

In India and Pakistan, the Foreign Minister faced huge trolls on social media and reached an understanding on May 10 to stop all military operations. However, he has the support of political leaders, former bureaucrats and defense veterans.

The meeting of Parliament’s Standing Committee on External Affairs, chaired by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, was attended by a number of lawmakers, including the TMC’s Abhishek Banerjee, the Congress’ Rajeev Shukla and Deepender Hooda, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, and the BJP’s Aparajita Sarangi and Arun Govil.
The meeting was conducted in the context of the Indian armed forces, who carried out Operation Sindor to avenge the Pahalgam attack and subsequent military operations between the two countries.
