No purpose in MCOCA case: AAP MLA Naresh Balyan to Delhi Court

Former AAP MLA NARESH BALYAN argued in a court in Delhi on Monday that his further detention would have no purpose in the MCOCA case. Advocate Ms. Khan appeared Balyan filed the lawsuit before Special Judge Dig Vijay Singh and sought bail for her clients.

Delhi police charged Balyan in the case on May 1.


The supplementary fee is for the four defendants sahil alias poli, Vijay Alias ​​Kalu, Jyoti Prakash alias Baba and Balyan, and under the strict part of the Maharashtra Control Organized Crime Act (MCOCA). All defendants were arrested, allegedly related to an organized crime group run by the gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu. The court recently recognized another supplementary fee list against another concurrent Ritik alias Peter.

Balyan was arrested in the case on December 4 last year, and the court granted him bail in the ransomware case.

On January 15, the court denied that he was released on bail in the case.

Delhi police argued that the investigation was at a critical stage in the case and that if released on bail, the defendant would hinder the investigation.
