Rahul Gandhi

On Monday, the opposition leader launched a new attack on Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, saying he remained silent about the number of Indian aircraft as Pakistan “informed” the military operation “lost” to “sindoor” the military operation “lost” in operation sindoor.

Gandhi also earlier targeted Jaishankar’s target on the issue, which suggests that India informed Pakistan of Pakistan’s military strikes, Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK).

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) described Gandhi’s claim that Jaishankar acknowledged India had issued an alarm to Pakistan before launching Operation Sindoor on May 7 as a “complete false statement.”

“Eam Jaishankar’s silence is not only saying that it’s abominable. So I ask again: Because Pakistan knows, how many Indian planes have we lost?” he asked in a post on X.

Gandhi also said: “This is not a mistake. It is a crime. This country deserves the truth.”

Congress leaders earlier shared an undated video clip of Jaishankar and wrote: “At the beginning of our attack, it was a crime to inform Pakistan.

Congressional leaders asked: “Who authorized it? How many aircraft did our Air Force lose as a result.”

“The Foreign Minister has said that we warned Pakistan from the outset that this is clearly an early stage after the start of Operation Sindor,” the Ministry’s External Propaganda (XP) attorney said.

“This is wrongly expressed before the beginning. This thorough statement of fact is called out,” it said in a brief statement.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi attacked Gandhi, saying he misled the MEA.

“Rahul Gandhi seems to have learned nothing from past mistakes. Although the IAF and MEA confirmed no loss of assets, he continued to question how many jets were lost and he continued to disrespect the country’s armed forces.

Josh said in an article on X: “Although DGMO clarified India’s efforts to communicate with peers in a May 11 briefing. Is the Congress party really serious in supporting the country’s actions? Their actions indicate otherwise.”

“Rahul Gandhi’s stupidity is not just accidental. It’s sinister. Rahul Gandhi must avoid distorting the facts. India knows who he really is talking about,” he added.

BJP state spokesman Pradeep Bhandari claimed that the comments from Congress leaders reflected Pakistan’s propaganda.

“Rahul Gandhi’s ignorance is not only random,” he said, accusing Gandhi of “pro-Pakistan line” on his toes.

He added: “Rahul Gandhi’s intentional distortion of facts is not a loss. It is a measure designed to feed hostile narratives. When India immediately opposed the terrorist attacks, he chose to sow chaos and celebrate Pakistan.”

Bandari said in another post on X: “Rahul is not ignorant.

AICC Media and Propaganda Chairman Pawan Khera said Rahul Gandhi raised some questions about the Foreign Minister’s statement. This has become very important, he said, because last week, U.S. President Donald Trump has been repetitioning different countries that he regulates to stop the war.

Khera said the Foreign Minister’s statement was sensitive because it seemed that the terrorists must have escaped from their hiding place.

He asked: “Prime Minister Modi and Foreign Minister will have to answer why he did this.”

“The government should answer how many aircraft the country has lost? What losses the country has suffered? How many terrorists have escaped?” he asked.

Khera claims that the BJP is conducting small politics on issues of national interests and believes that the opposition will remain silent and will not ask questions related to the country’s security.

“We will keep asking questions and if we don’t ask questions, the terrorist incidents will continue to happen in the country,” he noted.

“We don’t know what secrets the United States and China have to PM Modi, Foreign Minister and BJP leaders because they never speak in front of the United States and China. Whenever PM speaks, clean illness is given.”

“The whole country and the world know China’s role in this war, and the United States itself is boasting about its role in stopping this war, but Jaishankar JI doesn’t say it.”

Khera said Jaishankar himself told the media that they had notified Pakistan before the attack was launched.

“What does this mean now? The Foreign Minister has so much trust in Pakistan that terrorists sit quietly under his command? What is the relationship between the Foreign Minister? Why did he inform Pakistan before the attack?

He said: “In fact, it’s not diplomacy, it’s spy. Everyone heard what the foreign minister said – but it was covered up. Is this because this message survived Masood Azhar, Hafiz Saeed escaped alive? The country has no right to know…”

At the beginning of May 7, India’s Operation Sindor destroyed nine terrorist infrastructure occupied by Pakistan and Pakistan in retaliation for Pahargam terrorist attacks.
