SC REVERS sentences in Rajasekhar Reddy’s plea

Vijayawada: The Supreme Court retained its verdict after hearing a petition to arrest AP Liquor Scam Case Prime, defendant Kasireddy Rajasekhar Reddy.

Judge Padivara’s judicial court heard the petition on Monday and retained its verdict.

Siddartha Luthra, a senior legal counsel for the AP government, argued that Rajasekhar Reddy did not raise any objection at the time of his arrest. He was booked under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act of 1988. However, he later claimed that the arrest was illegal.

Rajasekhar Reddy’s father Upendar Reddy filed a petition in the Supreme Court claiming that the state’s CID has no right to send notice to his son, Telangana State, who lives in Telangana State.

After the hearing, the court announced the completion of the hearing and said it would issue a judgment at a later date. The court held that Rajasekhar Reddy should move out of the AP High Court for bail in the case.
