U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday (May 19) that Russia and Ukraine held ceasefire talks in the Vatican, which would add additional meaning to the lawsuit. Trump earlier described his phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who told him: “When will we end this, Vladimir?” In an incident at the White House commemorating law enforcement officers, Trump said that the “very, very big self” was involved in the talks and spoke about the substantial financial commitments made by the U.S. due to the funds given to Ukraine by the Biden administration.
